Deo Preview

Okay, I've been thinking, and I thought when I started this piece that i'd be making a piece that doesn't have something to do with me. I've noticed my illustrations all seem to have some sort of association with me (eg, pictures of me, pictures of me as a weird hand.. thing, pictures of me as a girl , etc).

Don't get me wrong. I try my best not to be self centered in real life. I just try personalise my creations (hence personal pictures of me).

So anyway, I present 'Deo (preview)'. Named after (and slightly inspired from) a song by Amon Tobin, this picture depicts a sort of more gothic version of my fantasy first date (gah, dammit! Okay, it is slightly personal).
However! It's not like my fantasy first date because there's only one muppet on yee olde floatin' wad of dirt (not two.. and the wally that's there is neither me nor my dream sweetheart), the tree's burning (and as romantic as huddling around a blazing shrub is, it doesn't have the same effect when they trees got more claws than Edward Scissorhands), and it's not at night... and the grass is a different colour... and there isn't that daunting green glow.

...*silence*..

Actually, now that you mention it, it does look like that flying wad of planet that featured in those Gorillaz music videos... Well, let me assure you there's no relation .

I called it Deo Preview because i'm making a bunch of pictures like this one, but they'll be in different seasons and weather conditions. And they'll all form into a MIGHTY 4096 BY 3072 pix WALLPAPER!! *lightning* Hurray for unnecessarily large wallpaper. So yeah.

P.S. Also, so i don't get in trouble, the white lines in the background came from some Eylo wallpaper I found. Whoever made it, thanks ^^
