Artists are fascinating creatures. Their talents are coloured by their emotions and experiences.

The idea of a 'tortured artist' isn't so much an artist struggling to feed himself and his family, but more the torture making the artist; The need for expression in emotional people is something, I think, should always be encouraged.

If more sad people made a habit of arting to express their turmoil, I think the world would be a lot more understanding and kind.

But I empathise, when you're sad you don't wanna do anything. Have some chocolate and play video games.
